The “Good Fest” is coming up and you will be able to watch it online.
Attention music lovers, Google will host it’s own music festival for the first time this month. It is called the “Good Fest”, and as the company describes it, it will be “the first of it’s kind” because it will be streaming live.
The show will consist of five separate concerts that will be streamed on Youtube, the company video platform. Each of them will be held in a different city in the US and will have it’s own unique theme that celebrates “progress, positivity, and the power of people to push the world forward.”
The first will be on the 29th of this month at the BAM Café in New York and the headliner will be Glass Animals. New Orleans will host the second one at the Music Box on December 9th and Gogol Bordello will put on the show.
The third concert will have D.R.A.M. playing in Seattle the 12th of next month. San Francisco and Los Angeles are still awaiting date confirmation for the last two shows of this festival..
Unlike Apple’s music festival, Google will sell tickets to collect money for non-profit organizations chosen by the artists. Glass Animals has already decided that 100 % of the profit will go towards DonorsChoose.org.
