The Walt Disney Company announced on Wednesday that they have reached an agreement with Snap Inc. to create exclusive content for Snapchat. A series of mini-shows that will only be available on the app.
Like many other companies, Disney turned to Snapchat to captivate the younger audience that concentrates in these social media apps. The companies had already worked together earlier in the year, creating Live Stories with the photos the users sent in for the Academy Awards.
Now, the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is joining in on the digital experience in the form of a mini serie that will be shown on Snapchat Discover. The show will have a duration between 3 and 5 minutes according to some of the US media. Disney hasn’t officially stated the details about the contract.
